Well hello and thanks so much for coming back to the Nest! If you’re new here, thanks so much for checking out the blog. I promise this is a great time to follow along as we’re at the tail end of the Spring ORC!! Whoohooo, fun stuff is happening and it’s not to be missed! Before we start talking design, lets give a nice big thank you to Linda from Calling it Home for orchestrating the décor champion of challenges! We must also thank our Media Partner, Better Homes and Gardens for being a part of this amazing challenge.

I also want to thank my fantastic sponsors for this challenge for providing some beautiful inspiration and products. While some items have been sponsored, all opinions are 100% my own.

Okay now let’s get down to business………….. I got NOTHING 😱😱 By nothing I mean I don’t have anything that makes for great progress pics, but I have been pretty busy with this laundry room refresh. If you want to catch up, here are week 1, week 2 and week 3 for ya!

So back to my nothing update: my light fixture and laundry basket have been delivered and I’m very happy to say, both pieces are as beautiful as I hoped they be. Never thought I’d feel that way about a basket that holds dirty clothes, but hey, you never know.  I was able to get most of the painting done. Earlier this week I posted to stories about painting my utility sink a glossy black. It has made such difference, even in this totally unfinished space. You may be able to see the difference in the walls as I’ve painted most of the walls with the exception of the wall that will have the privilege of the beautiful wallpaper that I wrote about last week and the space right behind the sink ( didn’t want the overspray situation, you know?)

I plan to place my order for wallpaper TODAY and lay down the new floors either this weekend or early next week. I was also able to score some really cool Art Deco decorative pieces for the room.

Given that it’s such a small space, I’m really being true to form and procrastinating to the highest degree!!!! No Bueno! I have to admit that I work best under pressure so I’m not too worried about it all getting finished in time…….. my only issue may be the hubster dragging his feet with the light fixture and window treatments………. but I’ll bribe him with promises of gourmet dinners! Done and done 👍🏾

Please go give the featured designers some love and check out their week 4 progress and of course all of the guest participants as well. I’m certain that there are some amazing updates to be seen!

Until next week!

Hi!! My name is Tiffany and I come to you by way of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. My family and I made the move from the big city to the Garden State of New Jersey about 7 years ago; while I miss NYC I do love New Jersey. Follow along as I transform my family home into my perfectly imperfect, curated and eclectic nest!
